Sundays Are My Favorite Days

Because they are Family Days! Now that we are settled into Jessie's new work schedule, we are able to decided what days we will be able to do what. And since I usually go to yard sales with my Mom on Saturdays (lol), we decided to spend all day Sunday together as a family. First we go to church (at Origin) and then afterward, the three of us go eat or do something else. This Sunday we decided to take Sami to the park. We let her get her nap in first though so that she wasn't tired and it had time to cool off outside. We took her to Heritage Park, but before we did that, we took her to the ice cream place right next door. (I had coupons. =)) Jessie and I both got a triple scoop. Yum and they gave Sami an ice cream with a face on it. However, she dropped it on the ground, so we got her another one. She LOVED it! It was the first ice cream cone she ever ate all by herself! But once she got down to the cone, she took my spoon from me and started eating the ice cream out of it. She is so silly! When we got to the park, her and Daddy played on the swing. I just sat and watched. Since I get to see her all day every day, I figured I would give them some time. They played on the slide and then we all threw her new Princess ball we just got her back and forth. And of course, she wanted to go play in the water because she saw "goggies." (doggies) over there. Sami is getting so big! She is learning so much and becoming capable of much more! Yesterday was so much fun. I LOVE family days!
