I know I shouldn't...

But...I have started to plan Samantha's Birthday. (Thanks a lot, Christina, for mentioning birthdays!) lol. I am not doing too much planning, because I am afraid Sam may change her mind between now and then, but we are looking at a "Ladybug Girl" theme. It is Sam's favorite book series. We get one everytime we go to the library. But they are so popular, they fly off the shelves, so we have to put them on hold or order them from another library. N-E-way,

I don't have many ideas for the party. It is not a very popular theme, obviously. But I think we are going to do ladybug and bumblebee cupcakes-Bumblebee Boy is also one of the main characters. I am sure my Aunt will help me withe some ideas close to time.

As far as her birthday week goes...Well, so far, the givens, her party and her birthday dinner. And then we will probably also take her to play miniature golf. (She has never been before.) And to go bowling. We went last year for her birthday, and she is STILL talking about it. Other than that, I am not sure yet. Gotta save some planning for later.

As far as gifts go, I know I want to get her the first Ladybug Girl book (She only has the 2nd and 3rd) and the Ladybug Girl doll-just ordered it because I found an awesome deal! (That is what we got Kylie Jade for her birthday since she Loves it too, and Samantha is in Love with it.) I am also going to pick up a Simply Fun board game for her at the Curriculum Fair this year. (I put some pictures at the bottom of all the games I want for her.) I am excited about that. I may buy two and give her one when I get back from the fair and one for her birthday. Jessie may pick out a gift for her, but I think that'll be about it, since we don't generally do the Birthday week instead of a ton of gifts.

EDIT: I found a few cute ideas for the party. I found a banner for sale on Etsy to print out. It is only a few bucks, but it is one of the few actual Ladybug Girl things I can find. (I definitely want her banner and invites to be the actual theme. I want to incorporate something about the "Bug Squad" in the invites. Then black and red plates. And then the food will probably be ladybugs and bumblebees, like I said.) I also found some cute food ideas. (At Bottom)

These are the ladybug cupcakes I like, or something similar.

These are the ones Sam likes.
