Easter

It is almost March, and I am way to anxious, so I have decided it is time for an Easter post! I have started Sam's Easter basket. Since she has been obsessed with butterflies lately, we are doing a butterfly themed basket. We are getting her a butterfly garden. (One of those ones that comes with a certificate to send in to get caterpillars. And then you watch them transform into butterflies.) I figure she will like that, AND it's educational. Then we got her some plastic figurines, the cycle of the butterfly. (We are also thinking of getting her a set of plastic butterflies.) Then we got her a book called, "Are You a Butterfly?" We are also talking about getting her tickets to a butterfly garden because we think it will be too late to take her for her birthday week. And then maybe M&Ms. She is not a big candy person, so she won't get much candy.

As far as plans go, we will probably do the same as last year. Have a small egg hunt for just her the like the Monday before, and then have an egg hunt and cookout with my family on Easter.

Also, we think she may be old enough this year to kind of start introducing the meaning of Easter-a little more so than we have. We figure the church will do something with her. And then I have a set of resurrection eggs to use to tell the story. We may read a book also. Not sure what else though.
