I'll Be The First To Do It

SPRING POST!!! The last two days has felt like Spring. I figure it is most likely temporary, but hey, I am enjoying it! And March is almost here, so Spring really is right around the corner.

Yesterday Sam and I went and met Jessie for lunch. It felt so good outside, so we went to the playground. Then afterward Sam and I went to the Dollar Tree and bought her and Brennon both a kite. We tried to fly hers when we got home, but it didn't turn out so well. But it was fun. :)

Today Sam and I got all fancied up in our matching Spring outfits and drove to the middle of Ringgold and went for a walk. I brought her stroller, so that she wouldn't get too worn out. We went to Happy Hour at Sonic and bought some slushes. Then we went to the creek, and she really enjoyed that. And then the playground. At the creek she made all sorts of discoveries and asked a ton of questions like, "Why is that tree on the ground?" "Why does this part of the water flow fast, and this part of the water doesn't?" And a lot of, "What is this or that?" She has so many good questions. She is curious about everything and how it works. And she tries to figure it out herself. I really love this age. This Summer is going to be a blast! Just me and her.

*Side Note: If you haven't figured it out, I do not watch my little brother anymore. My Mom quit her job so she could stay home because...SHE IS EXPECTING AGAIN! She is not far along now. Due the same day I was due with Sam, September 28th. I am excited for her, and glad she gets to stay home. I will get to see her a bit more. She may join us occasionally on our weekly treks to the library. I will miss watching my little brother, but it will be nice to have it just Sam and me again. Plus, my Mom has pretty much said I can come get him anytime, so it will be nice to pick and choose when to have him. And be able to take him out fun places still.
