Finished My House

I finished redecorating my house and I have never been so happy with the way it looks! I have slowly been redecorating the kitchen. I added baskets and such along the top of the cabinets. I organized my spices and such in baskets and added some color, took out some of the cow stuff that I decided I didn't like.

Then, we got a new flat screen and entertainment center. The entertainment center is bigger, so it fills the living room up better. We were going to order a coffee table, but we are putting it off until we see how much room is left. I added some pillows to the couches, for color. And lastly, I added some more portraits and frames. (Some of the frames in the pictures are empty because they still haven't come in!!!) The huge picture frame is what I have always wanted since we got our own place. I wanted a canvas, but they were WAY too much. So I ordered a 20 x 30-Hero Style Collage with pictures of us at our tree. The main picture is the tree right before it was blown away. Then the top picture is the very first picture I took of us at the tree. The dandelion is just a special picture for me and Jessie. And the bottom one is Samantha at the tree the very last time she went.

Our bedroom...We turned into Jessie's room since I took over the living room. We got our new furniture in there at the beginning of the year. And this week we added some things to the wall, like our giant picture of Dexter, and we are working on adding a video game poster, as soon as we frame it. We also moved his Crackdown poster and games and stuff. I reorganized the closet too and cleaned it out, as well as the storage closet and laundry room.

Lastly, I added some things to Samantha's room, like a toy organizer instead of her old toy box. And some wall stickers. But I didn't think it needed too much work since we just redecorated it in December.

Here are some pictures:

The baskets line the entire top of the cabinets. I tried to more than just baskets. I used vines, glass and plastic decorations, and stuffed dolls.

This is above the stove. I was keeping everything in white baskets, but it didn't match, so I switched to baskets.

Entertainment Center-Jessie just set it up, so we still haven't organized the cabinets or anything, but he did an awesome job of putting it together, and I am glad to have a new place to put frames. :)

This is the end table we have. I decided to keep a small scrapbook of her on there and a stack of coasters with pictures in them.

My 20 x 30-I Love pictures if you can't tell...

My Family Portrait Wall. And the frames lining the bathroom door are her birthday pics, one of her and one of the three of us for each year. I am still waiting for last year's to come in.

Our Room-My side of the bed. Floor Lamp and video game stuff.

Night Stand and MORE video game stuff...Jessie is pretty proud of the bamboo.

We are going to hang the poster up on the other side when we get the frame.

My Space-My desk and such. Since I won't be working from home I just use it to play on the computer or work on her lesson plans.

Samantha insisted she be in this picture. We put the stickers right up above her bed.

Her toys fit perfectly! It is very organized and she can get to her toys so much easier!!!
