Sami's Fears

I guess she's reached that age. She has discovered that she is afraid of the dark. The past few weeks she has started taking hours to go to sleep. And when she finally does, she will wake up several times. She would scream until she fell asleep and when she woke up, she would scream, "Mommy locked the door!!!!!!!!!" (Apparently, she thinks shut is locked.) So we started leaving her door open and letting her go to bed later because we figured she just wasn't tired. That still didn't work. Finally, last night, she told me it was because she was afraid of the dark. We talked about it and she went to sleep pretty easy, but she still woke up. So we are going to try and play some games with her tonight, like the "Animal Safari" we played awhile back when we first moved in. I hope it works. She is so pitiful when she is scared. =(
