Ahh...Samantha is getting so big. She has been allowing me some breathing room lately, and I am taking it. She now enjoys playing in her room by herself daily, so I think I am going to set aside some time for her to do that during the day. That will give me some time to do my own thing, which I recently learned I enjoy. I have learned about this whole new world called "WWW-dot." for short. They have everything.
I found a few sites I really enjoy...
thepioneerwoman.com
allrecipes.com-of course
and one of my favorites so far...sewing.org
The pioneer woman is pretty cool because she sort of has a blog about EVERYTHING I enjoy. They are separated in sections. She has one for housekeeping, cooking, gardening, photography, AND homeschooling! She lives out in the country and homeschools her four kids. Her website is pretty amazing! I have already learned a lot.
And of course, allrecipes I have talked about before...
Then, that last website has everything about sewing. It has ideas and patterns and how to's and what things are like certain stitches and knots. A lady that I met at the last PAT meeting said she was going to teach me how to use the sewing machine a friend gave me. It is really nice and top of the line, but it didn't come with instructions because it belonged to her grandmother. So I hoping to learn the basics from her and then get the rest off that website so I can make Samantha boutique clothes and stuff for cheap, since I have a hard time finding them at yard sales. PS Our herbs are already breaking though the ground. We just planted our vegetables, so it will be awhile for them.
