Yesterday was Christmas. All that preparing, and now it is over for another year. Samantha is-well, Samantha, and she was not happy at all about having to wake up in the morning. It took her a bit to get awake, and she wasn't too into unwrapping, obviously, but she really enjoyed her gifts! She Loved all of them. She got some miniature princesses in her stocking this year and a bunch of different gummies. We got her a tricycle-that she is too big for, so we have to return it and get her a small bike with training wheels, a Leap Pad with the case, games, recharge pack, and an app card. Dance Bag. Dance Hoodie-that says Ginger Brown Academy of Performing Arts on it. Doll House Dolls. Some Blu Rays. And some other small stuff from us. She also got, from family members, all the princess dolls, the Tangled Playset, some Strawberry Shortcake stuff, Tangled soundtrack, dress up make up, make up to wear when she performs, playdough, an Etch A Sketch, and some other small stuff like crayons and coloring books and such.
This year, Jessie and I gave each other cash. lol. We are both saving up for something big. He wants to build a desktop computer to hook up the TV and use for gaming. (Which honestly makes no sense to me because he hardly plays his games anymore. I think he just wants to build a computer. lol.) I am saving up for an iPhone. Jessie gave me a majority of what I will need to get one, so we are thinking of getting one at the beginning of the year. I am pretty excited because I have always wanted one! I Love anything Apple!
Anyway, after we did our thing at our house, we went to my Mom's and celebrated with her and my grandparents. Then we went to my Mamaw's. On the way back, we stopped by Lucy's Memorial, which is just down the road from her house. And then came home. (We went to Jessie's Mom's on Christmas Eve.)
I would say we all had a pretty good Christmas. Got some time with the family. And the babies had a blast. This year, I would say I got the best Christmas present of all! I think my medicine is kicking in! And it was just so sudden. I broke down because I am just so tired. And my hands hurts. I have cuts all over them from using knives to clean corners. And the bleach is eating at my skin. I told Jessie I didn't know what I was going to do, and the next morning I woke up and it was like I felt such a relief. I was able to enjoy Christmas Eve AND Christmas with Samantha and Jessie without having a hard time. I am so happy that I was able to do that. I am really hoping by the beginning of the year the medicine will be working completely and I will be able to get back on doing their lessons the right way and be able to play with Samantha again.
Honestly, we didn't get very many photos because my camera went to crap. And the few we did get, weren't good.
Sorry about the carpet. :) We are going to get it cleaned in February. |
