Welp, It's May!

I'm not sure what it means to you, but I know what it means to me!!! PARTY PLANNING! Yep! It's that time of year again! And it seems like I was just planning her 2nd birthday party 7 months ago...Oh wait, that's right, I WAS! This year will be her 3rd birthday! We have decided on the theme Word World. (It is Samantha's newest favorite show. She has watched it from time to time since she was born, and Jessie wanted to do it as her 1st birthday theme, but I thought it was a bit old for her. So, since this will probably be the last year we have complete say in the theme, I let Jessie choose. And, of course, he chose Word World.) For those of you who haven't seen it, everything in the show is made of the word. (I am adding in a picture.) It talks about letters and spelling. In each episode they "build a word." Samantha Loves it! She thinks it is the funniest show in the world. I know that character stuff can get expensive, so we decided to get a Word World banner or something, use primary colored plates and such because it will match, and then we are going to get my Aunt's help to get creative with the other stuff. We are going to have a cake made out of the letters C-A-K-E. And we are going to do the same with the invites! 

As for her birthday week, I don't know all the details. I don't want to do any of the same stuff we did for her 1st or 2nd birthday week, but we do have to keep it cheap because most of the money we have put back will go toward where we are thinking of taking her...Universal Studios! It is free for the family to go through Jessie's job, and even though she is too young to do some of the stuff, I think she will still fun. They have rides for her age. And shows. They have a Barney Live show! And for free, you can't beat that! We still have to get a hotel though because we want to be down there for 2 days. (And on our way down, Jessika, if ya'll didn't care, we want to come visit you guys too!)

Other than that, no details. I am in the preliminary stages. But I am still excited!
