May PAT

This was Samantha's last PAT visit of the school year! :( Makes me sad to think about it because Samantha LOVES Mrs. Tammie! And so do I! Today we only did one activity. We went over block building with toddlers. She told me how it relates to reading and math skills and what activities we can do to make building with blocks even more fun. She brought three different groups of blocks-wooden, soft, and blocks that squeak. And she introduced them one at a time to see how well she would tolerate intermixing the different types and materials. She said she did well. Afterward we read a book. It had no words, only pictures. Those are my favorite kind of books for kids! It really allows you to use your imagination. Next week we have a group meeting at the play ground, graduation for the kids going into Kindergarten. I'm excited!
