Our First Trip

So as, I think, all of you know, I did get my license that next day. And I have gone a few places like dance class-(Jessie got off work late). But today we took our first day trip, and I have to say that I think there will be many more. We had so much fun! I took her to story time at the library, which we will be doing every Wednesday morning from now on. I let her pick out some more books to check out with her library card. We also looked around the library and I got her more familiar with it. (Usually we go, pick up a few books, and leave.) Then we headed to WalMart to get Grace's birthday gift. Okay, so I have to admit, I have never really been anywhere like that by myself because I have never driven before, so I was EVERYWHERE. I didn't know what to do or where to go first. We ended up being there for over an hour just to get a birthday gift! 

Now we are home. It really was nice, because as much as I Love Jessie, I don't like going to the store or the library with him. He is a man. And maybe some of you can relate, maybe not, but he is not much for shopping or for story time or anything like that. When we go to the library, he doesn't complain really, but you can tell he doesn't want to spend his day off there. So it was nice to be able to take our time.

I also want to try to get her in one of those preschool (3-4 year old) homeschool groups around here, but I can't find one. There was one at the homeschool fair, but I can't remember the name. :/
