Fall Decorating

I couldn't help myself. I did a bit of Fall decorating today. I don't have whole lot, but I put up what I had. I made a change this year. I threw out all the stuff I bought from the Dollar Tree because it was already falling apart, and I bought some nicer decorations from some yard sales this summer. Samantha and I opened the doors and windows, turned on some music, simmered some fall scents and here it is!

Kitchen Counter-I am going to get some gourds from the pumpkin patch to put in the basket.

The door wreath that I need a hook for...
I hid some pumpkins in with my baskets in the kitchen-As you can see most of the decorations are in the kitchen, the rest in the living room.

Front Door

I had this pillow last year. Love that thing!

Also, my Aunt started on Samantha's invites. Here is what she has-The paper is red, not pink, and those are not jewels, they are colored brads to hold the letters on. The invites are done in various colors including red, white, blue, yellow, orange, green, and purple. Inside will have Samantha's picture and some Word World confetti.

Another thing, after spending $33.00 after taxes and shipping on that Jessie pillowcase dress, I decided to learn to make them for real this time. I already learned the tutu, now the dress. I already bought the fabric. Samantha picked it out herself. And ribbon to make her first fall dress, that way I HAVE to try it.
