The Way It Is
There is one thing I forgot that was pretty much the point of this blog. What is my life like? Well, we live with my Mom, as stated before. We get to stay until we finish college, which is in two years. Although, we may attempt to leave a little sooner if Jessie gets a better job. My husband works at Wendy's full time and we both go to school full time. We pay half of the bills, except rent, but in return we supply all the food for the house. We split half the chores. For example, since my Mom and I both had children-6 months apart-hers is older. Anyway, we have a ton of toys. At the end of the day we take turns being the one to clean all the toys up. Or when they were younger it was taking turn washing the bottles that were used that day. My daughter has to go to a Head Start daycare, which is a free daycare funded by the government. They supply everything from diapers to formula. There is one located right next to my school-on the property actually. It is not guaranteed to get a spot and I didn't know about it when I got pregnant or even right after. I am not exactly sure what I thought I was going to do about daycare. Although, there are other options. I now attend college so she doesn't have to stay at daycare as long as she used to. It is not ideal (this lifestyle), but to be honest, I Love it. It is not for everybody though. I have a great-supportive family that would do anything for me, and I like to stay close. It helps to live with my Mom because I see her everyday. And Saturdays we spend time together. We get up early during the summer and go to yard sales. I am a real bargain finder. lol. And during the winter we go to thrift stores. After they outgrow their clothes, we consign them to make our money back and go get some new clothes. We even have rules to shopping for baby stuff. One of the rules is-"If they are not willing to clean it before they try to sale it-don't buy it." Again, I am not encouraging everybody to have a Baby young. I am just informing. And here is a disclaimer: I cannot guarantee anybody will be as lucky as I have. Don't have a Baby because somebody else looks happy. That is what I did and let me say something-as stated before- I got lucky. Also, not everything is as it seems.
